In 1904, the Wharton School became the first business school to offer a marketing curriculum, and the school has vigorously maintained its position at the forefront of marketing studies during the past century. The Wharton School now has the largest, most cited and most published marketing department in the world.
The Eleventh Annual Marketing Conference will bring faculty, students and leading experts from the marketing field together under the theme “Evolution in Marketing Excellence: Building Customer Relationships Through Analytics and Adaptation.” Marketing tactics, metrics, and definitions of success have been rapidly evolving over the past few years. Social media, smart phones and tablets, customer analytics, technological innovation, ecommerce and a changing retail landscape – all of these factors have changed the ways that marketers speak to customers, as well as how customers communicate with each other. As marketing excellence continues to evolve, it is imperative to be prepared with the tactics and tools to succeed.
This year’s conference will feature keynotes, a hands-on workshop, and panel discussions with both CPG and non-CPG companies speakers.
The Wharton Marketing Conference is intended to serve as an integral forum for the marketing community within and beyond Wharton, providing access to the latest trends and research in the field, as well as an opportunity to build personal and professional networks.
